The Sucicago Stainless Steel Marine Fuel Sending Unit is a much more accurate and reliable alternative to the traditional arm and float setup. Customers can purchase it in conjunction with a Sucicago Fuel Level Gauge or Water Level Gauge to monitor the fuel, diesel, gasoline, or water level in their tank. This marine fuel tank sending unit is designed to work with any fuel/water level gauge with a signal range of 240-33 ohms (empty to full).

The sending unit's body is made of stainless steel, and the cable is PVC NBR. It comes with a 1-piece metric stainless steel gasket and 5 mounting screws. The standard SAE 5-hole pattern allows for easy installation. The unit has a protection rating of IP67, ensuring reliable performance in the marine environment.

The output signal range of 240-33 ohms (240 ohms at empty, 0 ohm at full) provides a clear and accurate indication of the tank's contents. The resolution range is 10mm for senders with a length of 4", 5", 5.5", 6", 7", and 7.5", and 21mm for senders with a length of 8", 9", 10", 11", 12", and 13".

The package includes the Sucicago Fuel Sending Unit, a gasket, 5 M5*0.8 length (16mm) screws, and installation instructions. Proper wiring installation is straightforward: connect the ground (blue) wire from the sending unit to a common grounding hookup, and connect the signal (brown) wire to the gauge hookup. If the gauge has color-coded hookups, maintain this coding when connecting the sender and ground wires.

The Sucicago Reed Switch Diesel Fuel Water Level Sensor is a better option than traditional lever-type sensors, as it is not affected by the constant movement caused by waves and boat rocking. This ensures an accurate indication of the fuel level, and the fuel gauge no longer bounces in windy or wavy conditions.

Based on customer feedback, the R&D team has redesigned the smaller sending units to have a higher resolution of 10mm for lengths of 4", 5", 5.5", 6", 7", and 7.5". This provides a more continuous fuel level indication than the previous 21mm resolution.

It is important to note that the length of the sender should be 1 inch less than the depth of the tank if the tank is plastic, and 0.5 inches less if the tank is metal, to prevent the sender from hitting the bottom of the tank. Additionally, the diameter of the float is 1.38 inches (35mm), and a 1.50-inch (38mm) hole would be the perfect size to drill if necessary.
